Features

  • Taiwan Steel University is an "Industrial-oriented university" located in a science park. With the investment from Taiwan Steel Group, we can offer students more internship opportunities. Taiwan Steel Group is the first comprehensive group in the country, covering four major industries and twelve major areas. The industries it spans include "Taiwan Networking," "Taiwan Steel," "Taiwan Chemicals," and "Taiwan Health and Sports." It owns almost 50 companies, including carbon steel, special steel, fasteners, aerospace, networking, communication engineering, environmental protection, petrochemicals, biotechnology, health and leisure, sports events, and the service industry. Currently, 17 of these companies are publicly listed on Taiwan Stocks Exchange, making it a powerful conglomerate.
  • We are the only high-quality industrial-oriented university with an international character located in the Kaohsiung Science Park, which is also the largest fastener industry zone in the country.

International Students Recruitment

The university has seen a steady increase in the number of overseas students. Up to now, TSUST has recruited a total of around one thousand domestic, foreign and overseas Chinese students (Indonesia、Vietnam、the Philippines、Cambodia、Sri Lanka、Malaysia and Myanmar) . Our friendly campus environment, helpful faculty and hospitable students help provide international students with care and helpful support. We also appoint local students as study partners to assist international students in their first year of study to help them better integrate into the local community.
